Rajasthan’s education sector has been acknowledged nationally for its innovative programs aimed at the overall development of students. NITI Aayog’s recent report praised initiatives like Shala Swasthya Parikshan Abhiyan and the AI-based assessment system under Chief Minister Shikshit Rajasthan Abhiyan as exemplary practices.

The state’s technology-driven approach towards student health monitoring, nutrition, fitness, and well-being was highlighted in the report. Over 7.5 million students underwent health screenings across Rajasthan under the Shala Swasthya Parikshan Abhiyan, covering various health aspects like vision, hearing, nutrition, dental care, and physical fitness.

NITI Aayog lauded Rajasthan’s efforts to integrate health and nutrition into the education system, aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 objectives. The introduction of OCR technology and AI-enabled assessments under Chief Minister Shikshit Rajasthan Abhiyan reportedly aided over 400,000 students in overcoming learning challenges, with an 8–10% annual improvement in learning outcomes.

Rajasthan’s education sector’s success was further highlighted by its ranking among the top 10 states in the Rajasthan Parakh Report 2024, surpassing the national average. The Padhai with AI initiative in Tonk district was also praised for enhancing student performance, especially in Mathematics and other core subjects. Officials credited Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma’s leadership for Rajasthan’s emergence as a national model of innovation in education, healthcare, and technology integration.
