Actor Rajat Bedi has addressed producer Viveck Vaswani’s critique of Aryan Khan’s debut Netflix series, “The Ba***ds of Bollywood,” particularly regarding a scene where a director kicks a woman. Rajat clarified that the show is entirely fictional and distanced himself from the controversy. He emphasized that the scene in question is a dream sequence presented by Aryan and holds no truth in reality.

Viveck Vaswani had expressed concerns about the show’s dark portrayal of the industry, labeling it as an exaggerated depiction and calling for a more balanced narrative. He specifically objected to a scene showing a director physically assaulting a woman, stating that such behavior is not reflective of the industry he knows. In response, Rajat highlighted the importance of audience feedback, noting that viewers have positively received the show despite differing opinions.

“The Ba***ds of Bollywood,” which premiered on September 18, 2025, marked Aryan Khan’s directorial debut and featured Rajat Bedi alongside a talented ensemble cast including Lakshya Lalwani, Seher Bamba, Sahil Mehta, Mona Singh, and Bobby Deol in key roles.
