Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) secured a 32-run win against Gujarat Giants in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) match at Dr. DY Patil Stadium. RCB’s Shreyanka Patil shone with a five-wicket haul, propelling them to the top of the points table.

RCB, despite a shaky start losing four wickets early on, recovered well with Radha Yadav’s 66 off 42 balls and Richa Ghosh’s 44 off 28 deliveries. Nadine de Klerk’s late cameo helped RCB reach 182/7.

In response, Gujarat Giants started strong but faltered, losing wickets quickly. Shreyanka’s 5-23 and Lauren Bell’s 3-29 restricted GG to 150 all out. Beth Mooney and Sophie Devine’s early aggression was not enough as RCB’s bowlers dominated.

Beth Mooney’s quick start was cut short by RCB’s bowlers, with Shreyanka dismissing her for 27. GG’s middle order collapsed under pressure, despite Bharti Fulmali’s valiant effort. RCB’s disciplined bowling sealed the win as GG fell short of the target.
