Religious leader Aniruddhacharya expressed concerns about individuals in India earning money and supporting those hostile to Hindus. He specifically mentioned Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s purchase of a Bangladeshi cricketer, stating it showed animosity towards the Hindu community. These remarks followed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) instructing Shah Rukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to drop the player due to public outcry.

Aniruddhacharya, in an interview, criticized Bollywood for its perceived arrogance and decision-making, emphasizing the need for accountability. He highlighted various issues, including atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh and the burning of Manusmriti in different parts of the country. The religious leader questioned the morality of supporting individuals who exhibit hostility towards Hindus.

Addressing the controversy, Aniruddhacharya emphasized the importance of aligning actions with principles of righteousness. He raised concerns about the impact of supporting individuals who hold anti-Hindu sentiments, urging a reevaluation of such decisions. The religious leader underscored the significance of upholding values and standing against actions that harm the Hindu community.
