Renowned philosopher and author Acharya Prashant has received a new death threat after making remarks in honor of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. The threat, conveyed through a YouTube account, contained explicit language and a direct danger to his life, causing worry among supporters. The PrashantAdvait Foundation has taken steps to file a formal complaint and seek appropriate action against the perpetrators.

An alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad, Acharya Prashant is well-known for his teachings on self-inquiry and his commentary on social, cultural, and philosophical matters. His outspoken views on superstition, religious orthodoxy, and social reform have often sparked public debate. The Foundation highlighted a pattern of misinformation and threats against Acharya Prashant, emphasizing that his statements are frequently distorted and circulated out of context, leading to hostility and violence.

The Foundation expressed concern over the lack of police or state protection for Acharya Prashant despite ongoing threats. Supporters have urged authorities to intervene promptly to ensure his safety and combat online hate and threats.
