Actress Richa Chadha and her husband Ali Fazal are set to share the screen for the first time in a situational comedy set in Delhi. Richa expressed her excitement about exploring a new on-screen relationship, highlighting the film’s humor and underlying social commentary. She mentioned that returning to Delhi for the shoot brought back personal memories from her school days.
Ali Fazal also shared his enthusiasm for the project, praising the film’s realistic portrayal of characters and humor derived from genuine emotions. Both actors emphasized the unique experience of working together in a new dynamic, different from their previous collaborations.
The untitled comedy, produced by Scenework Productions and Giriraj Productions, will be directed by Shashie Vermaa. Scheduled to begin filming in late 2026, the movie is expected to hit theaters in April 2027. Kumud Mishra will also play a significant role in the film, set against the lively backdrop of Delhi.
