Senior Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Maner MLA Bhai Virendra criticized the Bihar government for allegedly concealing the suspicious death of a NEET aspirant. He claimed that the government is pressuring opposition leaders who are speaking out on the issue. Bhai Virendra warned of potential street protests if the government fails to take action against the culprits.

Another RJD MLA, Gautam Krishna, condemned the NDA government for diverting attention from crucial public concerns. He highlighted that the government is focusing on trivial matters instead of addressing significant issues like unemployment, crimes against women, and justice for the deceased NEET aspirant. Gautam Krishna also questioned the credibility of the investigation into the case.

Gautam Krishna expressed skepticism about the investigation, suggesting that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) and subsequently the CBI might manipulate facts. He raised concerns about the CBI’s independence, alleging close ties between the Bihar government and the central agency. Gautam Krishna demanded a probe by a sitting Supreme Court judge for impartiality.

In response to the state budget, Gautam Krishna accused the Nitish Kumar government of misleading the public with statistics. He challenged the government’s claims of addressing unemployment by pointing out the migration of people to other states in search of jobs. The RJD leaders’ strong statements indicate that the NEET aspirant’s death and unemployment are set to be prominent issues in the ongoing Bihar Assembly Budget session.
