RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, at a conference in Bengaluru, emphasized the importance of Bharat’s integrated knowledge systems in addressing global challenges. He highlighted the need for a holistic civilisational vision to tackle contemporary issues effectively. Bhagwat stated that while modern frameworks offer partial solutions, Bharat’s comprehensive worldview provides completeness.
He praised Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal for promoting a holistic education model that goes beyond material success. Bhagwat underscored the significance of ‘Anekata’ (pluralism) in Bharatiya principles, emphasizing the value of diverse perspectives. He called for ‘Shaastrartha’ – respectful scholarly dialogue, as a means to understand the vastness of truth.
Bhagwat reiterated the commitment of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal to political independence and holistic education. He commended the launch of their new website aimed at expanding outreach to educators and scholars. The conference, attended by 380 delegates, focused on integrating India’s rich knowledge traditions into modern education under the National Education Policy, 2020.
