Congress National General Secretary Sachin Pilot criticized the BJP government in Rajasthan, alleging negligence in providing quality education, healthcare, and public safety. Pilot highlighted incidents like pregnant women’s deaths and a school roof collapse as examples of administrative failure. He emphasized the government’s responsibility to ensure these essential services, which he claimed the current administration has neglected.
Pilot expressed concerns over recurring paper leaks affecting the state’s youth and deteriorating healthcare services. He criticized the delay in local body elections and accused the government of disregarding public welfare issues. Addressing public gatherings in the Tonk Assembly constituency, Pilot underscored the need for accountability and transparency in governance.
The Congress leader condemned the lack of accountability in examination paper leaks, stating that deserving candidates’ aspirations were being shattered. He called for a thorough investigation into the utilization of donations for the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Pilot stressed the importance of transparency and accountability in upholding democratic institutions and public trust.
Highlighting delays in local body elections, Pilot accused the state government of weakening democratic processes. He raised concerns about rising inflation, farmers’ struggles with low prices, and the increasing costs of agricultural inputs. Pilot pledged to continue advocating for these issues within the Legislature and through public movements to address the challenges faced by farmers and laborers.
During his visit to the Tonk Assembly constituency, Pilot inaugurated development projects exceeding Rs 1 crore, focusing on educational infrastructure, roads, drainage systems, and water conservation. These initiatives aimed to enhance basic civic amenities and infrastructure across the constituency.
