The Shiv Sena Mahila Sena urged the Mumbai Police Commissioner to file a criminal case against Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut for his alleged use of obscene language and verbal abuse. They accused Raut of disrespecting public representatives and threatening women. The women’s wing warned of protests if immediate action is not taken.
Shiv Sena Deputy Leader Sheetal Mhatre criticized Raut for verbally attacking MPs who switched factions to join Shiv Sena. She highlighted Raut’s abusive behavior towards women and his disregard for decency. Mhatre emphasized the need for legal action against Raut under specific sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
Mhatre expressed concerns over a social media post showing Raut with a firearm, questioning the legality of his possession. She condemned Raut’s derogatory remarks towards officials and women, calling for an end to such behavior. The Mahila Sena’s memorandum aims to address Raut’s actions and ensure accountability for his conduct.
Shiv Sena National Spokesperson Shaina N C accused Raut of targeting the UBT faction and warned against further disrespect towards women. The Mahila Sena vowed to take a firm stand against any mistreatment of women and uphold their dignity.
