Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the 10-year journey of Startup India as a revolution driven by countless dreams and youthful creativity. He highlighted that the initiative has transcended being just a government program to become a transformative force for the new India. Modi shared these thoughts while engaging with startup founders, innovators, and young entrepreneurs at Bharat Mandapam on National Startup Day.
Commander (Retd) Sudheesh TM, CTO of MistEO, expressed his excitement about meeting the Prime Minister and showcasing their products’ potential impact. He appreciated the Startup India Mission for facilitating the interaction, emphasizing the Prime Minister’s attentiveness and insightful inquiries during their discussion.

Neha Chauhan, CEO and Co-founder of AeroBaY, described receiving the ‘Startup India National Startup Award’ as a dream come true, attributing this success to Prime Minister Modi’s initiatives like the Startup India Fund Scheme and NIDHI Prayas Yojana.
PM Modi acknowledged India’s rise as the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem within a decade. He noted the exponential growth in the number of startups, unicorns, IPO launches, job creation, and global recognition. Purvi Roy, Founder and CEO of Arista Vault, shared her experience of benefiting from the Startup India initiative, emphasizing the positive impact on job creation and economic growth.
Devika Chandrasekharan, Founder and MD of Fuselage Innovations Pvt Ltd, narrated their journey from a two-member team to addressing crucial farming sector challenges. Inspired by a local flood, they developed drone solutions for farmers, focusing on crop damage and plant treatment methods. Arun Pandit, Co-founder and CEO of Hyphen SCS, expressed pride in their national recognition, highlighting their motivation to elevate India’s innovations globally.
