Suvinder Vicky, a standout from the first season of the crime thriller series Kohrra, will not be returning for the upcoming season. Creator Sudip Sharma revealed that it was a tough call to exclude Vicky from the show, despite his exceptional performance.
Sharma expressed the difficulty of parting ways with Vicky, stating that the character held personal significance for him. He emphasized the emotional attachment and friendship that developed over time, making the decision challenging.
The creator shared that multiple factors influenced the decision to write off Vicky’s character. Despite the desire to retain the character, Sharma felt that the storyline had naturally concluded, leaving no room for further development in the upcoming season.
The second season of Kohrra, set to premiere on Netflix on February 11, will introduce new characters portrayed by Barun Sobti and Mona Singh. The season promises a fresh narrative set against the backdrop of Punjab’s stark winter landscape, emphasizing the show’s evolution and creative direction.
