Tej Pratap Yadav, the National President of Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD) and son of RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, organized a Dahi-Chura feast at his official residence to celebrate Makar Sankranti. The absence of Tejashwi Yadav, his younger brother and Leader of the Opposition, became a prominent topic of discussion. Despite Tejashwi’s nonattendance, their father Lalu Prasad Yadav graced the event and blessed Tej Pratap.
Leaders from various political parties, including both the ruling NDA and opposition, were invited to the feast. Tej Pratap, addressing Tejashwi’s absence, hinted that his brother might be influenced by certain individuals. He emphasized the presence and blessings of their parents, stating that his father’s attendance was significant.
Tej Pratap expressed that Janshakti Janata Dal is the authentic party, highlighting his father’s support at the event. Responding to speculations about a potential ministerial role, he mentioned that such decisions are not his to make. Tej Pratap also urged Tejashwi to consider merging RJD with Janshakti Janata Dal, asserting the latter’s original association with Lalu Prasad Yadav.
