Telangana’s Transport and Backward Classes Welfare Minister, Ponnam Prabhakar, asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stands no chance in the state, labeling BJP leaders’ aspirations for power as mere daydreams. Prabhakar emphasized that the people of Telangana hold a deep distrust towards those who have previously disrespected the state’s formation and division.
Responding to BJP leaders’ ambitions of extending their reach to Telangana post their success in West Bengal, Prabhakar dismissed such notions as unrealistic fantasies. He further contended that the BJP’s vision of a Congress-free India will never materialize as long as Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s Constitution remains intact.
Prabhakar expressed confidence in the Congress party’s resurgence, stating that it will regain power nationally. He highlighted the party’s commitment to democratic principles and its focus on serving the people. Additionally, Industry and Information Technology Minister D. Sridhar Babu praised the Congress’s dedication to constitutional values, particularly evident in their strong performance in Kerala.
Sridhar Babu projected optimism for the Congress’s future in Telangana under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s leadership. He reiterated the party’s dedication to fulfilling promises transparently and gradually, looking forward to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2029.
