The Chief Minister acknowledged the global impact of yoga and pranayama, attributing the initiation of International Yoga Day to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014. He underscored the theme of “Yoga for Healthy Ageing” for this year, encouraging individuals of all age groups to embrace yoga for its numerous benefits. Saha participated in a mass yoga practice event to advocate for the advantages of yoga in maintaining a balanced and conscious lifestyle.
Various dignitaries, including Tripura Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Tinku Roy and Tripura Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, took part in the International Yoga Day celebrations across different districts and localities of the state. The event aimed to raise awareness about the holistic benefits of yoga and motivate people to lead healthier and disciplined lives.
