Tvesa Malik showcased a flawless performance on the first day of the Women’s Pro Golf Tour 2026’s third leg at Oxford Golf Resort, securing the top position. With a birdie on each side of the course, Tvesa aims to regain her top form in the tournament where 44 players are competing for the Rs.17 lakh prize.

Anvitha Narender holds the second spot after carding a 71, marked by three birdies and two bogeys in the initial eight holes, followed by par scores in the last 10 holes. Meanwhile, amateurs Priya Kumari and Lavanya Gupta are tied for the third position, both recording even par 72, with Lavanya missing a shared lead due to closing bogeys.

Tvesa, eyeing opportunities on the Ladies European Tour (LET) later this season, secured birdies on the Par-5 fourth and the Par-3 14th holes. Despite missing a few birdie chances, she remains focused on her game. Anvitha started strong with back-to-back birdies but faced setbacks with consecutive bogeys before finishing with a birdie on the eighth hole.

Riya Jadon, Shagun Narain, and Ananya Garg are tied for fifth place with a score of 1-over 73 each. Additionally, Amandeep Drall and four others carded 74 to secure the eighth position, while players like Ridhima Dilawari and others shot 75 each, positioning themselves at Tied-13th.

Saanvi Somu leads the new professionals for 2026, with 10 new pros qualifying through the qualifier and four from the IGU Ladies OOM and WAGR. The WGAI now boasts a record 62 registered pro players, including 14 new pros for this year.
