Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda criticized Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge for referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a “terrorist.” Nadda stated that such remarks were disrespectful to the country’s 140 crore citizens. Kharge’s comment came during a press conference where he criticized the BJP’s alliance with AIADMK in Tamil Nadu.
Reacting to Kharge’s statement, Nadda condemned the use of the term “terrorist” for the Prime Minister. He accused the Congress of resorting to derogatory language due to the fear of losing in the upcoming state elections. Nadda emphasized that the public would respond appropriately to the Congress’s disrespectful behavior.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also criticized Kharge for his remarks, accusing the Congress of lowering public discourse standards. Shah defended PM Modi’s track record in combating terrorism and denounced Kharge’s comment as unacceptable. He highlighted that every time Congress attacks PM Modi, the people of India react, promising a similar response this time.
