Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia recently visited Guna for four days, kickstarting various projects totaling around Rs 350 crore to enhance the district’s development. During his stay, he engaged in activities spanning environment protection, water conservation, infrastructure, skill development, and more, while also overseeing ongoing projects.
Scindia initiated the “Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan” at the Kuno River source, emphasizing public involvement in safeguarding water, forests, and land. He inaugurated a check dam, a power substation benefiting over 225,000 citizens, a solar plant, an ITI building, and an electricity sub-center, all aimed at improving power infrastructure and skill development in rural areas.
In addition, Scindia flagged off a new train service, laid the foundation for a fruit and vegetable mandi, inaugurated roads, and distributed land patches to beneficiaries. He interacted with self-help groups and beneficiaries of government schemes, highlighting the success stories of women entrepreneurs and pledging support for their ventures.
The Minister also visited temples, prayed for the well-being of the people, and oversaw the renovation of a historic temple. At a “DISHA meeting,” he reviewed progress on various development schemes, including healthcare projects, increased medical staff, and irrigation initiatives aimed at benefiting the region.
Scindia reiterated the government’s commitment to development and public welfare, underscoring the transformative impact of infrastructure projects on citizens’ lives. He expressed optimism about Guna’s future in multiple sectors under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
