Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya Scindia, recently inaugurated the Jeeto Badminton Academy in Guna. The academy aims to enhance local sports infrastructure and offer professional training opportunities to youth in the area.

During the inauguration, Minister Scindia engaged in a friendly badminton match with children, promoting sports and physical activity among the youth. Additionally, he also launched a 4.5 MW solar power plant in Ruthiyai under the PM-KUSUM scheme and conducted a bhoomi pujan for the restoration of the Ram-Janaki temple in Patai village.

Furthermore, Minister Scindia flagged off the new Bina-Guna-Indore MEMU train service from Guna Railway Station to enhance regional rail connectivity. As part of his visit, he conducted public grievance meetings, planted 700 saplings in Kanza village, and initiated the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign at the origin of the Kuno River.

In a bid to promote environmental conservation, Minister Scindia launched the “Kuno River Revival Project” worth Rs 43 crore before the inauguration of the Jeeto Badminton Academy. He emphasized the importance of nature for human survival during the district-level closing ceremony of the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan.
