Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H.D. Kumaraswamy dismissed rumors about leadership problems within the JD(S)-BJP alliance in Karnataka. He emphasized that it is premature to discuss the Chief Minister position at this time. Kumaraswamy mentioned that there is no confusion regarding the alliance with the BJP and expressed openness to an alliance for the Greater Bengaluru civic polls.

He refrained from commenting on leadership positions, stating the priority is to remove the current government and establish a pro-people administration.
