Textile manufacturer Vardhman Textiles Limited disclosed a 22.2% year-on-year drop in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter ending March 2026. The company’s net profit for the January-March quarter stood at Rs 185 crore, down from Rs 237 crore in the same period the previous fiscal year. Despite this decline, the company saw a stable revenue from operations, with a slight 0.4% decrease to Rs 2,498 crore compared to the year-ago period.
EBITDA for the quarter increased by 2.5% year-on-year to Rs 294 crore from Rs 287 crore, indicating an enhancement in operating performance. The EBITDA margin also showed improvement, reaching 11.8% during the quarter, up from 11.4% a year earlier as per regulatory filings. The board of Vardhman Textiles proposed a final dividend of Rs 5 per equity share for FY26, pending announcement of the record date for the dividend payout.
The company’s board approved significant leadership changes during a meeting on May 7. Suchita Jain has been appointed as Vice-Chairperson and Managing Director for a five-year term starting from April 1 to March 31, 2031, after previously serving as Vice-Chairperson and Joint Managing Director. In another move, Neeraj Jain has been promoted to Managing Director for a five-year period, having previously held the position of Joint Managing Director at the company.
