A Winter Adventure Camp for 120 children of Airwarriors from Central Air Command at Air Force Station Bamrauli, Prayagraj, included activities like Powered Hang Gliding, Parasailing, and a Drone show. The camp, held from December 23 to 27, also offered Air Rifle Shooting, Treasure hunt, and training in lifesaving skills such as CPR and firefighting. The children had the opportunity to explore heritage sites like Anand Bhawan, Swaraj Bhawan, and OD Fort in Prayagraj.
Air Force Station Agra recently underwent an operational readiness Inspection visit by Air Marshal B. Manikantan, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Central Air Command (CAC), from December 22 to 23. The visit included a ceremonial guard of Honour for the AOC-in-C, who assessed the base’s operational preparedness, infrastructure developments, and recent advancements. The Air Marshal also interacted with key personnel and appreciated the station’s commitment to operational excellence.
In a demonstration of Civil-Military cooperation, an IAF Mi-17V5 helicopter translocated a tigress from Pench Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh to Rajasthan’s Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve on December 21. This relocation, part of a larger project, involved detailed planning and coordination with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. The initiative aims to transfer a total of fifteen tigers from Madhya Pradesh to various states to enhance conservation efforts.
