A young man was brutally killed by unknown attackers who used a heavy stone to crush his head near the Chandmari Yagyashala ground in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. The bloodied body was discovered in the bushes behind the ground, causing alarm in the area. The assailants not only smashed the victim’s face and head beyond recognition but also left the body in a condition that made identification challenging for authorities and locals.
Morning walkers and residents near the Yagyashala ground found the body and promptly alerted the police. Additionally, an abandoned Pulsar motorcycle near the crime scene, believed to belong to the deceased, was also discovered. Upon receiving the report, the Dhansar police station team arrived at the scene for a thorough investigation. Senior police officials visited the area to examine the crime scene and gather evidence.
Initial findings suggest that the youth might have been killed elsewhere before being dumped in the bushes to hinder investigations. The police are exploring various leads, including personal conflicts and past grievances, to unravel the motive behind the murder. As of now, the victim’s identity remains unknown, with investigators relying on the motorcycle’s registration details found at the scene to establish it.
The body has been sent to Shaheed Nirmal Mahto Medical College and Hospital (SNMMCH) for a post-mortem examination. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity and mobilizing local sources to track down the perpetrators. Intensive efforts are underway to swiftly solve the case and apprehend those responsible for the heinous crime.
