A 12-year-old student at a private school in Bengaluru passed away after collapsing in his classroom, leading his family to accuse the school management of negligence. The family filed a complaint with the Konanakunte police, resulting in the registration of an FIR. The student, identified as Arhan Pasha, attended a school on Bannerghatta Road in Weavers Colony.
Arhan, who seemed healthy after lunch, reportedly told his teacher about feeling unwell and dizzy. Allegedly, his complaints were disregarded, and he was instructed to sit down. The family criticized the school for not attending to his needs. Subsequently, Arhan collapsed in the classroom during school hours.
The family claimed that the school did not promptly arrange for an ambulance or transfer Arhan to a hospital. Family members had to transport him to the hospital themselves. The parents expressed disappointment in the school’s response and emphasized the need for better care for students. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
