Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh visited the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day Camp at the Delhi Cantonment. He praised the NCC for its role in shaping disciplined, patriotic, and value-driven citizens. Air Chief Marshal Singh reviewed the ‘Guard of Honour’ by cadets from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, and witnessed a band display by girl cadets.
He also inspected the ‘Flag Area’ prepared by cadets from all 17 NCC Directorates on social awareness themes. Addressing the cadets, Air Chief Marshal Singh expressed confidence in Indian youth and emphasized the significant presence of NCC with over 20 lakh cadets, including 40% girls. He appreciated NCC Cadets’ active engagement in various initiatives and urged them to uphold nationalism and strive for continuous improvement.
The Chief of Air Staff highlighted the importance of the Republic Day Camp and congratulated the cadets for representing their directorates at RDC 2026. The NCC cadets showcased India’s diverse culture through group performances, including songs and dances, which received praise from Air Chief Marshal Singh and other guests. Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan had also visited the NCC RDC 2026, emphasizing the NCC’s role in shaping confident and values-driven youth for a self-reliant India by 2047.
