Amitabh Bachchan, the renowned Bollywood actor, recently reminisced about his mother, Teji Bachchan, and a soothing childhood tradition that brought him immediate relief. In a blog post, he highlighted the importance of simple solutions to life’s worries, emphasizing the effectiveness of homemade remedies.
Reflecting on his mother’s nurturing care, Bachchan shared a heartwarming memory of her using a warm ball from her dupatta to provide comfort during distressing moments. He expressed gratitude for her reassuring words, which continue to resonate with him even today, despite her no longer being present.
Teji Bachchan, who married poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan in 1941, was known for her love of the stage and her musical talents. Sadly, she passed away in 2007 after a prolonged illness, leaving behind a legacy of care and reassurance for her sons, Amitabh and Ajitabh Bachchan.
Bachchan, currently filming for Nag Ashwin’s “Kalki 2898 AD” alongside Kamal Haasan and Prabhas, is also set to appear in Nitesh Tiwary’s ambitious project, “Ramayana: Part 1,” where he will portray the character of Jatayu.
