BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain criticized AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, claiming Kejriwal loses political credibility and resorts to religious issues during elections. Hussain accused Kejriwal and AAP of using faith for electoral gains, stating that Kejriwal’s political standing has diminished significantly.
Hussain highlighted that Kejriwal’s credibility in politics has dwindled to zero, alleging that during Kejriwal’s tenure in Delhi, he and his party focused on exploiting the city. The BJP leader emphasized that Kejriwal, now in power in Punjab, engages in religious rituals only when elections are near, showing a lack of genuine concern for faith.
The political clash between BJP and AAP has intensified over religious and faith-related matters. Meanwhile, Ayodhya saint Vishnu Das Maharaj criticized Kejriwal and other opposition leaders for politicizing issues related to religion and the Ram Temple. Maharaj accused leaders like Akhilesh Yadav of supporting Babri Masjid over Ram Mandir, suggesting they prioritize politics over faith.
The ongoing verbal sparring between the two parties escalated after Kejriwal labeled those opposing the Sundarkand recitation as having “demonic tendencies.” Kejriwal’s social media post quoting Lord Rama further fueled the political confrontation with BJP, setting the stage for heightened tensions ahead of upcoming elections.
