A Delhi Police constable reportedly shot his wife dead in East Delhi’s Kalyanpuri area following a domestic dispute. The couple had been facing frequent marital discord and arguments over personal issues.
The tragic incident occurred after an altercation between the couple while they were traveling on a scooter. CCTV footage captured them stopping on the roadside and engaging in a heated argument before the shooting.
The constable allegedly used his service pistol to shoot his wife during the argument. He fled the scene immediately after the incident, prompting a search operation by the police to locate him and reconstruct the events.
The accused constable, who was part of the Anti-Theft Squad in the East district, is currently being pursued by police. Family members and acquaintances are being questioned to understand the circumstances leading to the fatal shooting. An investigation is ongoing, with a case registered in connection with the tragic event.
