Amid discussions on former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh’s social media post lauding the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), State Urban and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya commended Singh’s bravery on Monday. Vijayvargiya likened Singh’s truth-telling courage to that of former Union Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Vijayvargiya acknowledged Singh’s boldness in expressing his views, stating that such honesty might not sit well with the Congress High Command. He emphasized the importance of speaking truthfully in a democratic setup, noting that Singh’s stance, though controversial, showcased his commitment to honesty and democratic values.
This is not the first time Vijayvargiya has lauded Digvijaya Singh. In a recent social media post, Singh had highlighted the RSS-BJP relationship, triggering a political debate. Singh’s post, praising the RSS-BJP alliance and its organizational strength, drew attention to the power of unity and grassroots activism. Despite the controversy, Singh clarified his stance, affirming his opposition to the RSS and PM Modi’s ideologies.
