The Rajasthan High Court’s Jaipur Bench faced a bomb threat, leading to a security alert and a temporary disruption of court proceedings. The threatening email demanded the cancellation of the Chief Justice of India’s visit and warned of RDX bombs planted in the High Court premises. Security agencies conducted a thorough search, but no suspicious items were found, allowing court activities to resume slightly delayed.
This incident marks the 10th bomb threat received by the Rajasthan High Court’s Jaipur Bench since October 31, 2025. Just a day before this threat, another similar warning was received, triggering a security sweep that also yielded no alarming discoveries. The latest threat coincided with the impending visit of Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, who was set to inaugurate a cyber security seminar in Jaipur.
Since the first threatening email in 2025, subsequent threats have been reported on various dates, including February 6, 17, and 19, 2026. These repeated threats have raised concerns about security and the misuse of cyber tools. Despite the challenges in tracing the sender of such threats, cyber law experts suggest that with legal cooperation, authorities can potentially identify and apprehend the culprits behind these disruptive actions.
