The brutal murder of an 18-year-old man in Shardanand Colony, Bhalswa Dairy area, North Delhi, has deeply affected the local community. The victim’s family reported receiving death threats from the suspected killers before the tragic event. Despite filing a complaint with the police earlier, no immediate action was taken. On May 7, a local hospital informed the police about the death of the 18-year-old, citing a history of physical assault and suspected stab wounds near “Tandoor Wali Gali” at 7:30 P.M.
Following the incident, senior officers, forensic, and crime teams visited the crime scene, collecting forensic evidence and two abandoned motorcycles. An FIR has been lodged under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Specialized teams are now analyzing digital and technical evidence to track down the suspects.
In another tragic occurrence on the same day, Delhi Police recovered the body of a 13-year-old boy missing from Bhati Mines area in South Delhi. Two 16-year-old acquaintances of the victim have been arrested for his alleged murder. The victim, a Class 8 student and son of daily wage workers, went missing after going out to play. Angry residents protested near the Sanjay Colony police post demanding justice. Initially a kidnapping case, the investigation now includes murder charges.
