The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched an online portal for Class 12 students to address issues with scanned answer sheets and request re-evaluation of papers. The portal, which includes Aadhaar-based authentication for added security, will be open from June 2 to June 6. Students who have already received scanned copies of their answer sheets are eligible to apply for these services.
To access the portal, students need to log in to their CBSE accounts and complete Aadhaar verification. Those without an Aadhaar card can use details from a parent, guardian, or close relative, ensuring that the authentication information matches. The entire process, from application to fee payment, is conducted online, with no offline submissions accepted.
For a fee of Rs 100 per answer book for verification and Rs 25 per question for re-evaluation, students can report various issues in their answer sheets. The payment can be made through UPI, debit cards, credit cards, or net banking. Applicants must provide specific details for re-evaluation requests, and only one application per student is allowed.
CBSE has provided students with a visual guide to assist in the application process and avoid common errors. Despite some technical difficulties reported by students during the portal’s launch, CBSE has advised candidates to adhere to the schedule and complete their applications within the given timeframe.
