A tragic incident at a construction site in Gurugram led to the death of seven laborers who were buried under soil. The company responsible for the site has received a notice, and compensation will be provided to the victims’ families, as confirmed by Assistant Commissioner of Gurugram, Anil Sharma.
Authorities are focused on ensuring that compensation is given to the families of the deceased workers. The incident occurred at the Signature Global construction site in Sidhrawali, where laborers were working on Monday evening when the soil caved in during excavation work, resulting in the tragic accident.
The bodies of the deceased are being taken to Gurugram for post-mortem before being handed over to their families. Among the seven deceased workers, six were from Jharkhand, and one was from Rajasthan. Legal action is being pursued against the company by Gurugram Police, with a case registered and strict measures promised against any negligence found.
