Sheoran’s flawless third round was highlighted by an impressive start, securing four consecutive birdies from the second to the fifth hole, maintaining his dominance throughout the round with additional birdies on the 10th and 11th.
Kolkata’s Sunit Chowrasia made a significant move, climbing into second place at 12-under 204 after a steady four-under 68 round, featuring five birdies and a single bogey. Overnight co-leader Akshay Sharma and Jamal Hossain were tied for third at 11-under 205. Akshay continued his solid performance with a two-under 70, while Hossain stayed in contention with a 68 round.
Mani Ram from Karnal secured fifth place at nine-under 207 after a round of 70, including an eagle on the par-5 14th, two birdies, and two bogeys. Sheoran expressed his satisfaction with his performance, emphasizing the importance of early momentum in his round. Chowrasia, on the other hand, highlighted his steady start and expressed confidence in maintaining his gameplay for the final round.
