The family of Twisha Sharma is pressing for a new post-mortem examination and a shift of the investigation outside Madhya Pradesh due to concerns of manipulation and interference by the accused. Twisha’s mother, Rekha Sharma, expressed frustration over the lack of progress in seeking justice, emphasizing the need for a fresh examination and a transfer of the case to Delhi.
Twisha’s father, Navnidhi Sharma, raised questions about the denial of permission for a second post-mortem despite initial approval, suggesting undue influence in the process. He accused the accused of tampering with evidence and exerting control over the investigation, highlighting the challenges faced in pursuing justice.
Allegations of manipulation and interference by the accused were reiterated by Navnidhi Sharma, who criticized the handling of the case by authorities. He pointed out the perceived bias in favor of influential individuals involved in the case, calling for a fair and impartial investigation to uncover the truth.
Major General Shyam Shrivastava (retd) joined in the calls for accountability, expressing concerns over the perceived alignment of the administration and police with influential figures linked to the case. He emphasized the need to uphold the rule of law and ensure that those in positions of authority are held accountable for any misuse of power.
