The father of Kamal Dhyani, a 25-year-old biker who tragically died after falling into an open pit in Janakpuri, expressed dissatisfaction with the Delhi government. Naresh Dhyani demanded accountability, emphasizing that such incidents should not occur in the future. He highlighted the need for the government to take responsibility and ensure that similar pits are not left unattended.

Naresh Dhyani shared that the family and friends searched for Kamal throughout the night and only discovered the incident the following morning. He stressed the importance of preventing such accidents and urged the Delhi government to step up and address safety concerns promptly.

Kamal, the eldest son and sole breadwinner of the family, met with the tragic accident while returning home from work. His brother recounted the heartbreaking events of that evening, expressing the family’s grief and the lack of support received from political representatives or officials.

Residents in the area where the incident occurred expressed worry over safety lapses, pointing out the absence of proper barricades and warnings at the site. They highlighted the darkness in the area as a significant issue, emphasizing the need for improved safety measures to prevent similar tragedies.

The incident, which led to Kamal’s untimely death, has sparked outrage and raised concerns about safety standards at construction sites in Delhi. The Delhi Police, while denying allegations of inaction, assured continuous efforts to trace Kamal’s movements and investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.

Delhi’s PWD Minister, Parvesh Verma, termed the incident as tragic and pledged strict action. He announced suspensions and a thorough probe to determine accountability and prevent such incidents in the future.
