FC Barcelona progressed to the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey after defeating Racing Santander 2-0. The match saw Ferran Torres scoring the opening goal in the 65th minute, following an excellent pass from Fermin Lopez. Despite Racing’s efforts, Lamine Yamal sealed Barcelona’s victory with a second goal in the final minute.

Meanwhile, Valencia managed to secure a 2-0 victory against Burgos in challenging weather conditions at the El Plantio Stadium. Ruben Iranzo’s header and a goal from Umar Sadiq helped Valencia in their La Liga relegation battle.

Both FC Barcelona and Valencia will be part of the quarterfinal draw along with Athletic Club, Atletico Madrid, Deportivo Alaves, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, and Albacete. Albacete caused a major upset by defeating Real Madrid 3-2 in the recent Cup match.
