Singer-turned-politician Hans Raj Hans has made a musical comeback after more than a decade. He shared that the support and encouragement from his friends motivated him to release his latest song, “Ohdiyan Khedaan.” Hans Raj Hans explained that he had shifted his focus from show business to politics for around 12-13 years before deciding to re-enter the music scene.
His new track, “Ohdiyan Khedaan,” penned by Sanjeev Anand and composed by Amdad Ali, was launched under the Anand Records label. Hans Raj Hans expressed that the song provided him with a platform to convey his emotions and thoughts, emphasizing that although it is a musical piece, it carries a profound essence of life with a hint of spirituality.
Known for hits like “Dil Tote Tote Ho Gaya,” “Dil Chori Sada Ho Gaya,” and “Nit Khair Manga,” Hans Raj Hans ventured into politics and has been associated with parties like the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), the Indian National Congress, and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He has also served as a Member of Parliament, having contested in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections from the Jalandhar constituency in Punjab.
