India is set to host the Asian Rifle/Pistol Championship in 2027, offering eight quotas for the LA 2028 Olympics, as announced by the Asian Shooting Confederation. The country is now gearing up to host the Asian Shooting Championship Rifle/Pistol from February 2 to 14, with a strong team of 118 athletes.
The Asian Shooting Championship Rifle/Pistol, set to be held in New Delhi, will see a massive participation with 118 athletes from India, the largest contingent in the competition. Kazakhstan follows with 35 athletes, while Iran has 28 athletes registered. The championship will witness a total of 564 starts across various events, featuring athletes from 20 countries.
