The Indian Army is demonstrating its advanced weapons systems and operational capabilities in various Northeastern border states to emphasize its readiness and commitment to safeguarding the region. In Arunachal Pradesh’s West Siang district, military authorities organized a weapon and equipment display during the pineapple festival at Bagra to enhance community outreach and military-civil fusion. This display aimed to raise awareness and engagement among villagers, particularly youth and students, about the Indian Army’s professionalism and preparedness.
The event saw active participation from locals, including State Assembly members and community leaders, who commended the Army’s proactive engagement during local festivals. By integrating defense awareness with cultural celebrations, the display highlighted the military-civil fusion spirit and strengthened the bond between the Army and the local population. The initiative underscored the Indian Army’s ongoing commitment to community interaction, especially focusing on youth engagement and awareness building in Arunachal Pradesh.
In a separate event at the Tripura Institute of Technology in Agartala, the Indian Army showcased a wide array of weapons and military equipment to mark Army Day 2026. Organized by the Albert Ekka Brigade, the display aimed to inspire students towards patriotism and nation-building. The exhibition featured modern weapons, surveillance systems, and operational equipment, with Army personnel providing insights into the systems’ capabilities and the values of discipline, dedication, courage, and selfless service.
