Ahead of the Bihar Assembly session, JD(U) MLA Shyam Rajak criticized the Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi regime, labeling it as an era of “jungle raj.” Rajak highlighted that during their governance, criminal activities thrived, leading to a breakdown of law and order. He contrasted the current administration’s proactive stance against crime with the chaotic situation during the previous regime.
Rajak pointed out that while the Opposition focuses on criticizing the current government’s handling of crimes, they should not forget the rampant lawlessness that prevailed under their rule. He emphasized the need for stringent actions against criminals and the importance of restoring public trust in security measures. The MLA stressed that despite existing challenges, continuous efforts are being made to combat crime effectively.
Acknowledging the persistence of criminal activities, Rajak underscored the government’s commitment to addressing them promptly. He urged the police to enhance their efforts in maintaining law and order and ensuring accountability. Rajak also drew from his past experience in the Opposition to highlight the stark differences in governance approaches between the previous and current administrations.
