Karnataka BJP President and MLA B.Y. Vijayendra highlighted the public’s dissatisfaction with the current Congress government in Karnataka. Speaking at a meeting for the upcoming South-East Graduates’ Constituency election, he downplayed discussions about the next Chief Minister, stressing the need to address governance issues. Vijayendra urged party members to focus on the state’s welfare rather than individual ambitions.
Vijayendra emphasized the importance of electing capable representatives to the Karnataka Legislative Council who can effectively address public concerns. He described the responsibility of ensuring good governance as paramount and called for deserving candidates to be chosen for the council. The BJP has a history of representing the South-East Graduates’ Constituency for eight consecutive terms.
The BJP has nominated K.M. Suresh as the NDA candidate for the upcoming election. Vijayendra praised Suresh as a dedicated party worker with a long-standing commitment to the education sector and community service. With the election approaching and voter registrations expected to exceed 50,000, Vijayendra urged party leaders to support Suresh’s campaign efforts for victory.
Vijayendra acknowledged the changing political landscape in Karnataka and emphasized the need for the BJP to intensify its voter registration and organizational activities. Despite the Congress government’s voter enrollment initiatives, Vijayendra called for increased efforts from the BJP to secure success in the upcoming elections.
