To celebrate Madhuri Dixit’s 59th birthday, the film “Maa Behen,” a crime-comedy, will debut on Netflix on June 4. The movie features Triptii Dimri, Dharna Durgaa, and Ravi Kishan alongside Madhuri. Geetanjali Kulkarni, Arunoday Singh, and Shardul Bhardwaj also star in significant roles.

At the core of “Maa Behen” is Rekha, a mother dealing with a sudden twist when a dead body appears in her kitchen. Together with her daughters, Jaya and Sushma, they navigate through lies and secrets to shield their family from prying neighbors. The film is produced by Abundantia Entertainment and directed by Suresh Triveni, known for “Tumhari Sulu” and “Jalsa.”

Vikram Malhotra, the Founder & CEO of Abundantia Entertainment, described “Maa Behen” as a compelling narrative that blends audacity with emotional authenticity. The movie delves into themes of family, society, and survival in a judgmental world, offering a mix of entertainment and relatability. Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh from Netflix India praised the film for its humor and surprises, highlighting the stellar performances of the cast.
