Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav praised the state’s achievement of the lowest unemployment rate in the country during a public address in Lahar, Bhind district. He announced the disbursement of Rs 1,835 crore under the ‘Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana’ to benefit over 1.25 crore women in the state.
Yadav emphasized the state’s focus on welfare and industrial growth, citing upcoming projects like a Rs 2,000 crore cement plant in Guna and a Rs 2,500 crore project in Shivpuri. He also highlighted the manufacturing of a 1,000 km-range missile in Madhya Pradesh to bolster national security.
Addressing local demands, the Chief Minister announced the immediate introduction of postgraduate classes in a local college in Lahar. He also highlighted the significant increase in wheat procurement prices under his government compared to the previous Congress regime.
Yadav revealed plans to implement the Uniform Civil Code in Madhya Pradesh, aiming for “One Country, One Law” to ensure equality and security. Additionally, he outlined initiatives to boost rural incomes through dairy farming and announced the restart of MPRDC bus services to improve rural connectivity.
Looking ahead to the festive season, the Chief Minister urged citizens to pledge for public welfare, promising continued development initiatives from the government. The event also witnessed the distribution of benefits under various schemes worth approximately Rs 332 crore across 56 initiatives.
