The samples being analyzed include paneer curry, puri, mango juice, and water from various sources. The incident took place during a wedding event in Abhlod village, with food prepared by caterer Dhanabhai Bharwad.
Additional samples have been gathered from the producers of paneer and mango juice to pinpoint the source of contamination. The Chief District Health Officer mentioned that out of 1,000 to 1,200 attendees, 222 experienced symptoms like diarrhoea, vomiting, nausea, and stomach pain. The Food and Drug Regulation Authority has been notified, and the state government has requested a detailed report on the matter.
