Mumbai BJP chief and legislator Ameet Satam declared the recent BMC election win as a triumph for the Marathi community and the residents of Mumbai. He credited the success to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the transformative initiatives led by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis under Modi’s guidance. Satam emphasized that the victory was a result of the dedicated efforts of BJP workers who tirelessly served the city.

Satam highlighted that the win signified the rejection of external influences aiming to alter Mumbai’s essence, praising Mumbaikars for safeguarding the city’s identity. He also honored the BJP workers who selflessly served during the pandemic, with 56 workers making the ultimate sacrifice. Satam expressed gratitude to key party leaders for their support and guidance in achieving this success.

Looking ahead, Satam affirmed the commitment of the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance to ensure transparent governance in the BMC, drive Mumbai’s progress, and uphold the city’s security. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis described the BJP-Shiv Sena coalition’s performance in the BMC elections as a resounding endorsement of their development-focused agenda. Fadnavis reiterated the government’s dedication to fostering growth and improving the lives of the underprivileged and middle-class citizens through developmental initiatives.
