Mumbai Indians have encountered a setback in IPL 2026 as both Quinton de Kock and Raj Angad Bawa are ruled out due to injuries. De Kock has a tendon injury in his left wrist, while Bawa has a ligament tear in his right thumb. The players will undergo rehabilitation at home under the supervision of the Mumbai Indians medical team.

The franchise is expected to announce replacements soon in compliance with IPL regulations. De Kock, who was bought for Rs 1 crore, had a notable season with a century against Punjab Kings but had to exit due to the wrist injury. Mumbai Indians are set to play Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens and Rajasthan Royals at their home ground to conclude the league stage.

Mumbai Indians expressed that both players will receive support and guidance during their recovery to facilitate their return to play.
