The new Chief Minister of West Bengal, Suvendu Adhikari, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. Adhikari stated that PM Modi assured him of full Central assistance for the BJP-led state government. Adhikari expressed gratitude for the PM’s commitment to West Bengal’s progress.
During the meeting, PM Modi reiterated the vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.” Adhikari highlighted that the development of West Bengal is a top priority for the Central government. He thanked PM Modi for the support to drive the state towards economic growth and youth empowerment.
Adhikari expressed confidence in achieving double-engine growth and transparent governance with the Union government’s support. This visit marked Adhikari’s first official trip to Delhi as the Chief Minister. It is believed that the visit aimed to finalize Cabinet members and their portfolios.
