Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a massive rally at Brigade Parade Ground in central Kolkata on March 15. This rally will mark the conclusion of the “Parivartan Yatra” organized by the West Bengal unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The Yatra, which commenced recently, will cover all 294 Assembly constituencies in the state.
The “Parivartan Yatra” will pause on March 3 and March 4 due to the ‘Dol Yatra’ and ‘Holi’ festivals, respectively. Following the festive break, the rallies will resume on March 5 and continue until all constituencies are covered. The official end of the Yatra is scheduled to coincide with the Prime Minister’s rally on March 15, pending any last-minute changes.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will kick off one of the nine rallies in Raidighi, South Parganas district, on Monday. Originally planned for Sunday, the Raidighi rally was rescheduled. It remains uncertain whether Amit Shah will also attend the Brigade Parade Ground rally on March 15, where PM Modi will be the main speaker.
Several prominent BJP leaders, including Union Ministers and other central figures, are expected to participate in the “Parvartan Yatra”. This lineup includes Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Nitin Nabin, J.P. Nadda, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Dharmendra Pradhan, Smriti Irani, and Devendra Fadnavis, among others.
