Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to lead the 11th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre. The meeting’s theme, ‘Inclusive Human Development for Viksit Bharat @2047’, emphasizes the well-being and progress of all Indians, irrespective of age, region, gender, or socio-economic status. Discussions will revolve around strategies to actualize this vision and ensure tangible benefits for every citizen nationwide.
Chief Ministers, Lt Governors, and other stakeholders will convene to deliberate on the Inclusive Human Development Framework. This framework is structured around four key pillars: foundational human capital and future-ready skills, productive employment, entrepreneurship, decentralized growth, health, nutrition, well-being, equity, and dignity for all. The agenda includes exploring avenues to boost entrepreneurship, enhance skills, and foster sustainable employment opportunities across the nation.
The meeting will prioritize devising an implementation roadmap that harnesses critical factors such as governance, digital public infrastructure, convergence, partnerships, and data-driven systems. It aims to establish a robust mechanism for monitoring short, medium, and long-term outcomes to ensure accountability and measurable impact. Emphasis will be placed on aligning state aspirations with the National Vision on Inclusive Human Development to foster unified and sustainable growth.
The Governing Council will also address recommendations from the 5th National Conference of Chief Secretaries held in 2025. The recommendations span five key themes: Early Childhood Education, Schooling, Skilling, Higher Education, and Sports & Extracurricular activities. The meeting will witness the participation of Chief Ministers, Lt Governors, Union Ministers, and other key stakeholders, including the Vice Chairman, Members, and CEO of NITI Aayog.
